The service
Starback is a free tool that shows public GitHub stars, suggests repositories and optionally sends a weekly email. It is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and may change or stop at any time.
Your use
- Use Starback in line with GitHub's Terms of Service.
- Don't scrape, overload or automate requests against Starback. We rate-limit and may block abusive traffic.
- Only subscribe email addresses you control. Subscribing requires a GitHub-verified email.
Third-party content
Repositories, descriptions and links come from GitHub and their authors. We don't endorse them. Running code from any repository (including through Codespaces or StackBlitz links) is at your own risk. Sponsored placements are labeled and are the sponsor's responsibility.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, Starback and its maintainer are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from using the service.
Ending use
You can stop at any time: unsubscribe from emails, or use “Delete my data” on your Starback page. We may suspend access that violates these terms.
